The bar, with its cozy log fire and beamed ceilings, created the perfect ambiance for enjoying the fine ales and wine offered. It felt like stepping into a charming English countryside pub straight out of a classic novel.
Slow shower, but no real problem.

The location of this hotel was perfect for exploring the nearby attractions. It was situated in a peaceful area, away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The staff were friendly and welcoming, making me feel right at home. I particularly enjoyed the complimentary coffee that was offered upon my arrival.
There were a couple of downsides to my stay. The mattress in my room was quite uncomfortable, as the springs were quite noticeable.

The location was perfect, with a grassed area and outdoor covered dining space right by the smoking area. It was also conveniently close to Duxford airfield. The service was impeccable, with housekeeping making sure everything was spotless. I loved the room amenities, especially the tea and coffee facilities. The terrace and patio were great for relaxing with a drink. The free Wi-Fi in the rooms was a bonus, and the flat-screen TV provided entertainment during downtime. The staff were friendly and attentive, making me feel right at home.
I highly recommend this hotel to everyone.

Good Food, Convenient location and Festive Decorations
Spent Christmas holidays at a hotel, and despite its drawbacks, there were a few features I liked. the meals were excellent, the festive menu included traditional dishes and innovative ones. the hotel's location was ideal for exploring the surrounding area as it was within walking distance to the park and ride. Lastly, the decorations were stunning and immediately put us in the holiday spirit.
My stay was dampened by several drawbacks. the rooms were too small, and there wasn't much space to move around.

Relaxing in a busy well run pub with no loud music or drunken youths, an absolute pleasure. Food was first class. this is a village retreat worth visiting even if not to stay over.
Bath water not as hot as could have been.
